Our team members are made up of a range of different profiles that make a perfect tandem. They all have diverse backgrounds and talents, but we all have the same values: 100% dedicated to excellence.
They have the spirit of self-improvement and the skills that make Medichem a successful, integrity and reputable company.
17% of our team works in R&D, while 13% works in Quality. 5% in Legal, IP and Regulatory. On the other hand, 52% of the team are University Graduates while 16% are PhDs.
All of them committed and working hard to provides innovative, social & sustainable solutions (APIs and FDFs), because we are responsible for the impact we generate, creating trusted partnerships with our clients.

José Luis Rodríguez
Chief Operations Officer
COO of Medichem since 2015, José Luis is responsible for all FDF and API operations across our four manufacturing sites in Spain, Malta and China.
He is in charge of production, development, engineering and many other aspects of the business.
Ana Martí
General Counsel & IP
As legal counsel and director with Medichem since 2001, Ana has been responsible for the legal aspects, including intellectual property and regulatory, for many years, and enables the development of our business strategy.
Maite Sánchez Casares
Chief Human Resources Officer
As a passionate advocate for fostering strong workplace cultures, Maite brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, specializing in cultural transformation and innovation.
Cristina González
Chief Financial & IT Officer
Cristina Gonzalez joins us with a wealth of experience in finance and IT and with more than 15 years in the pharma industry. Throughout her career, Cristina has dedicated herself to the finance function, honing her skills and expertise in various esteemed companies.
Fabiana D`Aniello
Chief Scientific Officer
Fabiana recently joined our Team as Chief Scientific Officer. With over 20 years in pharmaceutical R&D, Fabiana’s diverse roles, including Head Drug Development, R&D Director, and R&D Project & Portfolio Management Director, have provided her with extensive pharmaceutical industry insights.
Mariona Senis
Quality Director
Mariona joined Medichem as Quality Director in 2019.
She leads and motivates the company’s ongoing drive to promote a culture of quality at every level and increase efficiency.
Jaume Rodó
Chlorhexidine Business
Unit Director
Jaume has been a manager in clinical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals for almost 30 years, and brings a fresh perspective to Medichem, which he joined in 2017.
